"Take the positive but realistic view when determining an arragnement's potential. There's no need to undermine your faith by carrying the baggage of past disapppointments into the new year with you."
SO I'm going to yakima for a gsa conference. Now Robert is worried that Ken might slack and not follow through with stuff, but according to this.... We just need to get over it. It's a new year... Ken may just surprise us! :-)
Robert, Leanne and I both went together. It was fun getting over there....Just the rain over the pass.. nothing can get us down!

"Your position may have undergone a major revision in recent weeks. Since we're now at the follow-through portion of the program, check in and endure that your next move is consistent with your deepest goals and principles."
Funny I got this. I have been reworking my design curriculum all day. I hate it. Its a good thing I am patient. i am following through with the rest of the semester and then next semester I can change what i don't like. Since this is my first semester teaching Design, its bound to be a learning experience.
I came home...... Now? Nothing. :-D
Happy New Year!

"Ahh. Articulate Mercury is about to join your sign, and it should become considerably easier to get your point across. You can smooth the process evenmore by remembering that you have a dry sense of humor which people respond beautifully."
So... Today was my first day back to school... YAWN.. was i tired... But ready to be back. I was kind strict with my students, but let them knwo that i still cared about them... Just didn't care for their attitudes. I did have a dry sense of humor today....... Ironiclly. But damn i'm tired.
I came home and made dinner with amber.. appetizers.... turkey and broccoli wraps, hot dog with bbq sauce, and spring rolls... interesting....

» New Years Eve and Day...
"Right about now you should be striking those around you as the poster person for a top-flight charm school. Get out therea nd turn your attention to matters creative or romantic--or both. Oh, and Happy New year!"
***** Star Day!!!!
So New Year's Eve.
I got to Barry's and Rachel's at about 530ish. There was a wreck on the freeway and it took extra long to get there cause we got detoured. Oh well.
So the three of us prefunked for a bit and then went to our friend Aimee's to pick her up. Aimee is a girl that we met like 3 years ago new year's. Barry and I went to R Place and hung out and drank and ran into Aimee and her Girlfriend Maraka. We all got drunk together and found out that they lived in the same building as Barry...a floor above. Since then we meet every 6 months for pride and new year's eve. It's on the books forever... or until we all move or anything.
So the four of us then all went to Adam's house for a party at his house. When we got there adam wasn't around, so well all mingled with who was there. Adam showed up from the back of his house a little while later. Soon after we all (barry, ratch, aimee and i) left to go to the bar so we could drink and dance.
Adam's friend Kaleb made us all drinks, alex was there drinking (or was drunk) and i met a couple of other people. So it was cool. IT was the first time that i was comfortable with adam around. Maybe it was the alcohol.
We got to R place, had some drinks, and had a great time. Somewhere around midnight a single guy started dancing with me and grinding on me and askingme why a 'cute guy like me is there alone'. Then he started kissing on me and i let him in my drunken state (i think his name was roger, but whatever). THEN some guy shows up with a beer and gives it to him and introduces himself... i forgot his name. THEN he kisses the other guy all with tongue and everything. Apparently they were boyfriends... LAME....
But to each their own. If i wasn't such a prude, or antiboy.. i think i would have gone home with them... but alas they didn't ask me... :-)
Then
WE all basically got shitfaced. Barry then drove aimee home and the rest of us to jack in the box, ate and i stayed over at barry's house.
In the morning the three of us, alex, brad and his boyfriend all went to break fast all hung over... (at 2 pm) then we came back to barry's and watched sex and the city for most of the day and evening... now... here I am... :-)
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Since opportunities to make an impact don't get much more golden, this is your cue to carpe diem--and, in the process, impress your friends with how far you've come and how much you've learned about yourself."
I think this will be my resolution.......

» All I Really Need To Know in Life I Learned By Peeing With an Erection
All I Really Need To Know in Life I Learned By Peeing With an Erection Life is full of lessons, often they go unrealized. Occasionally we take notice and use situations to help improve our lives. Those of us wise enough to catch these lessons should share them with the world, as I have for you.
1) Things don't always go the way you planned. (No matter how hard you aim, you aint hitting that bowl.)
2) You don't always have to live large. (Sometimes small IS better.)
3) Sometimes you need to think outside the box. (Peeing in that bathtub is going to be MUCH either than that tiny bowl.)
4) No matter how big your problems are, don't ever lose grip of the situation. (Like I need to tell you to use both hands.)
5) Put things back where you found them. (I guess this kinda depends on how you got the erection.)
6) Hard work can't be done while sitting on your ass. (If you try to push that sucker down you might break it off.)
7) Understand the gravity of your situation. (Even though gravity won't really help you right now.)
8) Don't be afraid to ask for help in life. (She is probably just lying there, ask for an extra hand.)
9) There are obviously some things a woman just can't do. (My apologizes to the hermaphrodites of the world.)
10) It's best not to think how you got into your situation, but how you are going to get out of it. (What in the hell are you pissing with a hard-on for?)

Santa does doughnuts around Space Needle – 2:35 a.m. ET
Dec 24: Seattle, Wash. – After a brief stop for a pick-me-up at a Seattle coffee house, Santa was seen by people all over the city doing 360s around the top of the Space Needle. Our Santa expert tells us that he loves the view from the Space Needle and always circles around it several times before leaving Seattle.

"Since you will eventually attain a long term objective, you should be particular about the path you choose to get there. Why take one gridlocked with trucks and taxis wehn you could just take the scenic route? It'll be just as effective, not to mention, more picturesque."
How cool. It totally made me think about my social/dating life. I'll get there... just take the scenic route... Not rush into anything....

» No offense... Teacher Point of View
Then Jesus took his disciples up on the mountain and gathered them around Him. And then He taught them, saying:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, Blessed are the meek, Blessed are the merciful, Blessed are you who thirst for justice, Blessed are you who are persecuted, Blessed are the peacemakers."
And Simon Peter said, "Do we have to write this stuff down?"
And Philip said, "Will this be on the test?"
And Andrew said, "John the Baptist's disciples don't have to learn this stuff."
And Matthew said, "Huh?"
And Judas said, "When am I ever going to use this in real life?"
Then one of the Pharisees, an expert in law, said, "I don't see any of this in the syllabus. Do you have a lesson plan? Is there an activity for each of the seven intelligences? Where is the study guide? Will there be any authentic assessment? Will remediation and extra credit be provided for those who did not meet class requirements so they can still pass?"
And Thomas, who had missed the sermon, came to Jesus privately and said, "Did we do anything important today?"
And Jesus wept.

Tis the end of the year and I'm slacking. "Let's hope you're a good card player. If you can just sit thre with a poker face, letting others up the ante, you'll go home with the whole pot. This pertains to business and personal affiars alike."
Dang. For a 5 Star day, it sure wasn't feeling like it. Its my trend this year. It was just a blah day. I didn't have my coffee and everyone suffered. LOL Then i had a union meeting. 1st monday of the month. Gotta love it.
